Aldi is a familiar brand managed by two German family-owned inexpensive supermarket companies with over 10,000 shops in 20 countries. It was founded in July 1946 by two brothers Karl and Theo Albrecht, upon takeover of their maternal store- Essen. In the business or industry, they go by the name of Aldi Einkauf GmbH & Compagnie.
It was in 1960 that the business was split into two groups, Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd. While Aldi Nord is headquartered in Essen, Aldi Süd finds solace in its Mulheim headquarter. In the US standalone, both Aldi groups have been running successfully over in about 1,600 stores catering to the grocery need of their consumers by providing impeccable quality products, customer service, and swift services at the lowest possible price.
Aldi provides their 50+ million monthly customer base with the best quality products at the lowest possible prices.
Amongst other achievements, Aldi is proud to have been named the National Top Workplace by Energage for five consecutive years. In 2021, Aldi was named as United States' Best Large Employers by Forbes.
There is a stark possibility that the two Aldi groups might reunite in 2022 to raise their efficiency and reduce surplus wastage.
